Getting older changes your answer on this one. Used to want freedom, now I'm grateful they're only 30 mins away.

Family drama makes the choice easier—far and free all day. Some people are meant to be loved from a distance.

The grass isn't always greener tbh. Close enough to visit but far enough to breathe—that's the sweet spot nobody talks about.

Close to family is non-negotiable for me. Can't put a price on Sunday dinners and having help with the kids.
