Tangled means unmaintained means broken benches and dog poop everywhere. No thanks.

The messy ones have better wildlife. That's the whole point of public space — give something back to nature.

Both? Some areas wild, some maintained? But if forced to choose, I'd say wild — costs less, looks better in 10 years.

Manicured parks are safer and easier to use when you've got elderly relatives or young kids.

Neat parks feel sterile to me. Give me overgrown paths and hidden corners any day.

Wild parks are where you actually feel like you're somewhere real, not just a corporate lawn. Kids need dirt and mystery.
