Cinema in silence, or talking welcome from the seat beside you?

Respectful quiet conversation is fine, but most people just can't seem to do it without disturbing everyone.

Depends on the film. Horror? Talking ruins it. Comedy? Reactions from people around you are half the charm.

Why even go to the cinema then? Just stay home if you want to chat.

There's a difference between quiet chat and loud disruption. A bit of banter makes the whole thing more fun honestly.

Silence. I paid £15 for this ticket to watch the film, not listen to someone's running commentary.

Cinema is a collective experience. If you can't handle a whisper from the person next to you, watch it at home.
