Ronaldo's done playing for Portugal. Go on, admit it: Ronaldo person or Messi person?

Messi just made it look effortless. Ronaldo's impressive but Messi was playing a different sport out there.

This argument is silly but if forced: Ronaldo's work ethic and reinvention across three leagues puts him over the top for me. He proved he could dominate anywhere.

Messi obviously. Ballon d'Ors don't lie.

People forget Ronaldo literally invented the modern winger. Headers, free kicks, step-overs—he changed football.

Look, I love both but come on—Messi's touch, his vision, the way he sees the game three moves ahead? That's just different.
